But of course, nothing prepared us for the shaky, hard wind that we went through. It felt almost like ocean waves, and my airplane was Camilla Belle in Disney Channel's Rip Girls. I started to actually enjoy the ride, but people around me kept shooting worried eyes at each other, and someone started whistling.
Pretty much every time we hit hard turbulence, that person just started whistling. And not even really good whistling. It was weak and held no tune. Though, now that I think about it, hopefully the whistling wasn't a warning to everyone that we were in turbulence. Because I think we all got it.
I blame this turbulence for why I accidentally hit German on the movie menu screen, and I couldn't figure out how to change the language because choosing your language at the beginning is a commitment and German is sort of hard to make sense of.
I stopped pressing buttons when a charge screen came up. At least, I think that's what it was. There was a dollar sign somewhere in there, and I don't think the Germans just use dollar signs like rappers or Ke$ha. In the end, I panicked and turned it off, hoping it would go away.
I'm in New York now. Yup.
