you sing karaoke.

When confronted with the microphone during karaoke, a power possesses you. You love the song. You've sung it in the shower. You've dance to it in your car.  This song brings in good memories.  You've listed it as a favorite and analyzed the lyrics.  No on knows this song like you. No one had a secret, inventive choreography to this song like you.

Until you hear your weak voice hit notes without the the help of the real singer. You always thought you could sing this song. You always thought that you had the voice to sing this given (a) a talent show or (b) impromptu karaoke where you impress a celebrity crush with your confidence.

Well, it turns out that your voice is weak.  That you lose confidence when those around you only know the chorus.  That maybe your secret choreography should just remain secret.

At least you redeemed yourself with that Stevie Wonder song at the end.

Maybe you should just stick to male singers when contemplating the song selection.
