you're found out

I was in the car with Judy on the way back home when I did it.

"Georgette."

She looked at me questioningly.  She lowered the rap music considerably down (it was loud enough that it was shaking the car) and turned to ask, "What.  What as that?"

Immediately I was surprised, mostly because my best friend hadn't noticed this and because I she seemed quite adamant.  I told her why I do that.

Mistake because she then proceeded to say, "Go on then."

"What?"

"What were you thinking about?"

And so Judy refused to put the car radio back on until I told her why I said my name.  I really didn't want to tell her the memory that made me say my name, but she either wants to fix me or is just plain curious.

So I chose the first embarrassing memory that seemed shareable from my head about this time in England, and she let it drop.

Only it happened again and she did the same thing!  I tried to ride the silence out but it's so damn uncomfortable.
