Why is it that older people have to back-up their superiority by reminding us younger generation how different we are?
I'm getting a little offended by how my professor keeps talking down to the class about old movies and old music. He assumes that we don't know who Frank Sinatra is! How offensive is that? Old blue eyes? Um Nathan Detroit? It isn't easy being green?
Hell yeah, I know who he is!
So when my professor is walking around the class, looking each of us in the eye, talking down to me about Frank, I'm going to make a weird face at him to convey my disregard for anything he's saying.
Of course, it was pretty funny when he had to do a double-take at me.
